New Balance Numeric 255 by Jordan Taylor ︎︎︎ Professional skateboarder Jordan Taylor worked with New Balance on a signature colorway of the 255 and asked NICK to contribute to the insole design. The resulting 80's inspired insole features pool floats spelling GORDO (Jordan's nick name). This illustration acted as a source of inspiration and direction, leading to a comedic promotional video featuring Jordan, under Covid-19 lockdown orders, filming his own commercial. Brilliantly shot and edited by Luke Murphy and photographed by Jake Darwen, the commercial was a hit on social and led to 100% sell-through of Jordan's New Balance Numeric 255.
